My Practice

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice. My Masters is in Clinical Social Work from  Fordham University in New York City.

I bring over twenty years of professional work experience in a variety of different clinical and direct care settings. Over the course of my career, I have worked with individuals and families along the entire spectrum of mental health. My experience includes working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, families. I have had additional training in addiction, trauma related issues and am a  nationally certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. In the past, I have been recruited and served as an adjunct professor in the graduate program at the University of Texas San Antonio, School of Social Work.

Now, in my private practice, I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples and families.  I see my work with clients as a partnership, where I serve as a conduit to help them create and achieve personal goals, work through difficult feelings and experiences, gain insight, self-awareness, and bring mindfulness and balance to their lives.

I stay involved with several professional organizations including The San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology,  National Association of Social Workers and the Austin In Connection.
